My uploaded videos don't show on the site

TIP

First check the upload went through.

In the app: open Shorts and check the Published tab for your videos.

On the storefront: make sure the floating widget is turned on, or the block is placed and saved, in the theme editor. Also confirm All widgets ON is on in the app.

I changed a setting but it isn't applied

TIP

Widget preset changes apply instantly to any place that uses that Widget ID — no theme change needed. If a block or embed uses a specific Widget ID, confirm it points at the preset you edited. Hard-refresh the storefront to clear the browser cache.

Does connecting slow my store down?

TIP

No. Content streams from ShortsWorks servers, separate from your store's hosting, so your page load isn't affected.
