Recording and uploading a video

TIP

The ShortsWorks app supports simple shooting, editing, and decorating — just like the social apps you know. Videos are optimized for a 9:16 ratio; 1080p HD is recommended. The maximum length is 1 minute — if you pick a longer video, only a 1-minute section is uploaded.

Shoot a video and upload

1. Tap the camera icon at the top right.
2. In video mode, press the shutter to record.
3. Hold the shutter to keep recording; the elapsed length shows at the top center.
4. After recording, trim the length.
5. Then add text, product tags, and emoji. You can mute the video.
6. Finish your edits and upload the short.
7. Confirm the short in the Shorts tab.
