Sign up & log in
On Shopify there is no separate sign-up. Installing the app creates your ShortsWorks account and links your store to it — there is no email or password to choose.
- Install ShortsWorks from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions.
- Open the app under Apps → ShortsWorks. Your account is created on that first open, and your store is linked to it.
- From then on, you're signed in whenever you open the app in your Shopify admin.

Signing in on the mobile app
Because there is no password on a Shopify account, the mobile app signs in with a one-time code issued from your Shopify admin.
- In your Shopify admin, open Apps → ShortsWorks → Home and scroll to Sign in on your phone.
- Click Get a sign-in code. A QR code and a 10-character code appear.
- On your phone, either:
- point your camera at the QR code — the ShortsWorks app opens and signs in, or
- open the app, tap Sign in with a Shopify code at the bottom of the login screen, and scan the QR or type the code.
Each code is valid for 5 minutes and can only be used once. Need to sign in on another phone, or signed out? Just generate a new one — the section stays on Home for exactly that.
